Terms of Service & Privacy Policy
Full disclosure — please read carefully before using. Using the Service constitutes acceptance.

1. Acceptance & nature of the Service
By accessing or using Shadow-OS (the "Service") you fully and unconditionally agree to these Terms and this Privacy Policy. The Service is an experimental artificial-intelligence platform provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", and may change, break, or be discontinued at any time. If you do not agree to any term, do not use the Service.
2. The Service is AI-powered and acts autonomously
Shadow-OS uses AI models (including Google Gemini) to generate text, run code, send messages and emails, create files, set up automated monitors ("Watches"), connect to external services, and take other actions at your request. AI output is probabilistic by nature and may be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, offensive, outdated, or unlawful. There is no guarantee of accuracy, availability, or fitness for any purpose.
3. Information we collect
We collect and store: (a) account data (email, authentication via Google); (b) all content you submit — prompts, messages, uploaded files, watch definitions, plus your conversation history and a "memory" of facts learned about you; (c) automatically-collected data — IP address, device and browser type, pages, clicks, timestamps, and usage flow; (d) analytics and cookies, including via Google Analytics and similar tools. We may retain this data for extended periods.
4. How we use information · analytics · aggregated data
We use information to operate, secure, personalize, and improve the Service, for analytics and product research, and to build datasets, statistics, and insights. We may analyze, use, disclose, license, or SELL aggregated and/or anonymized data (that does not personally identify you) to third parties for any purpose, including commercial. Cookies and Google Analytics are used for measurement and may be used for ads personalization. By using the Service you consent to this.
5. Third-party processors
Content and data may be processed and stored by third parties, including Google (Gemini, Analytics), Supabase, Vercel, messaging providers (e.g., Twilio/WhatsApp), and others — and are subject to their terms and privacy policies. On certain AI tiers these providers may store and human-review inputs and outputs to train and improve their models. We do not control third-party mechanisms and are not responsible for them.
6. Do not submit sensitive information
Never enter sensitive, confidential, regulated, medical, financial, credentials, keys, secrets, or third-party personal information / intellectual property. You bear full and sole responsibility for everything you submit, and for ensuring you have the legal right to submit it.
7. AI-generated content — we are NOT responsible. Period.
We do not author, endorse, verify, or control any output the AI generates, suggests, drafts, recommends, or produces. All such output is provided for informational purposes only, may be wrong or harmful, and is NOT professional, legal, medical, financial, or any other advice. We are NOT responsible and shall have NO liability for any AI output, or for anything the agent creates, suggests, drafts, sends, executes, or fails to do. You alone are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and deciding whether to rely on or act upon any output.
8. Autonomous agent actions
At your direction, the agent may perform real-world actions — send emails and messages, create or modify files, run code, monitor websites, schedule tasks, and call connected services / MCP. You authorize these actions and accept full and exclusive responsibility for their consequences. We are not liable for any action taken or not taken by the agent — including erroneous, delayed, missed, or unintended actions, alerts that fire or fail to fire, and data fetched from third-party sources.
9. No warranties (AS IS)
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, or non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation, and are not responsible for data loss, breaches, or third-party failures.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shadow-OS, its operators, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, special, consequential, exemplary, or incidental damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, any output, or any action. In any event, our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Shadow-OS and its operators from any claim, damage, loss, or expense (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, your reliance on any output, any action you direct the agent to take, or your breach of these Terms.
12. Fair use, changes & termination
Usage is rate-limited to keep the Service stable; abuse, unauthorized automation, or attempts to bypass limits may result in suspension. The developer API is subject to a monthly quota. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service or these Terms at any time without notice; continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated version.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts of the Tel Aviv-Jaffa District shall have exclusive jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
